Charlie T Waite
As directed by the General Assembly during the July 9th special session, the Virginia State Crime Commission will be holding hearings on August 19th and 20th to evaluate Governor Ralph Northam’s proposed gun control bills. Gov. Northam rushed to convene the July 9th special session in order to push radical gun control policies that he later admitted would not have prevented the May 31st attack in Virginia Beach. He seized this opportunity to launch a political stunt to distract from scandals involving himself and other statewide office holders. The Commission’s hearings, on the other hand, will give experts and investigators an opportunity to thoroughly review the ineffectiveness of Gov. Northam’s policy proposals and present this information to the General Assembly. Link to comment
