how long does it take to machine one, from start to finish?

any off-machine work before? (probably get it to the overall dimensions)

It takes 4 operations. So you have to adjust the jaws .  Actual run time is 15 minutes roughly.

We just cut blocks roughly 1/2 an inch larger  than the final dimensions and mill it down

Did you write the program for the CNC?

Of course he did. It isn't that hard.

I had to look sideways at the first photo to figure out what I was looking at.

As a former CNC programmer/operator my hat is off to you.

Good luck with your venture.

ED-PLZ give some serious thought to make 'screw-kits' to replace the screws on various guns.

Both blued and SS.

I would really like to see a 'kit' for my 1981 made Marlin 94.

The screws that Marlin makes today, looks like the came from the Braille Institute's night shift.

Respectfully,

OLG

After a couple late nights working with a fine file and I think I've got it.

To those who showed interest in being a test dummy I'll be contacting you this week.

I came up with an adjustable spring that I'm going to try next. It purpose is to fine tune.  So don't have to tweak your ammo just adjust a spring.  Theoretically speaking you could adjust from a .45 colt to a 45 cowboy and back with just a twist of the wrench

Interesting, wonder if a 44 Russian would work in 44-40?

Tyrell .. :)

Not really.  You can get the 44 Russian to go off but the chamber size is so much different it's not really a good idea.  However .... 44 Russian can work a treat in a 44 Special toggle Rifle with the appropriate cartridge stop  :D

Do you have the specs for both?

Will these be for Uberti, original Winny's, Miruko's, or all three?

Right now they are set up for uberties.  I'm rebuilding an original 73 that will be next to fit.    I only have my personal rifles to work on and I don't have a miruko
