The Original Lumpy Gritz
No picture of his carts do them justice. Ya got to see'em for yourowmself in the sunlight, to truly see what a master woodworker like Yul makes into an art form. OLG

Catlow4697
If you are a wood butcher like me buy a finished gun cart that you like I have two of the Rugged gear carts . One in Az and one in Ohio I have been shooting since 1995 and was building carts for myself then for the wife and I Just guessing some where around 20 different ones , some ranges with sand or loose gravel present different challages . 1 Ask yourself how many guns , ammo and gear do you want to carry on the range? 2 How able are you to lift a cart into your vehicle ? 3. Will what you buy or build fit in your vehicle? One of the kids jogging strollers with swivel front wheels is about the cheapest ways to start Look at garage sales , Craigslist and such Yul Lose guncarts are beautiful pieces of furniture that make you smile when pushing them around on the range. wish I had bought one years ago ,still dreaming of finding one under the Christmas tree

Pat Riot
Yul's carts are definitely a wonder to behold. I have seen a couple in person and quite honestly I am very impressed with his talent. If you build your own cart I would not go with a wagon type cart unless you can find a wagon with a really wide stance. They become cumbersome and top heavy once loaded up with all your gear. Allie Mo, SASS No. 25217
I've seen Yul's carts in person and have some of his handiwork, jewelry boxes. He is an amazing craftsman.

Allie Mo, SASS No. 25217
BTW, I currently have a Rugged Gear cart that a SASS club in another state bought me. It is so easy to maneuver and lift into my small SUV. Dang, SASS people are the best!

bgavin
I will keep my eyes open for somebody in our area that wants to sell off a simple one. We have Rifle, SxS, 4 revolvers, and need space for accessories. I will build a nice one.. mañana... when time permits.
Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L
Pard at our church is a woodworker - he decided to present me with his first gun cart build made from hickory. Looking forward to using it in it's first match this weekend. I had 2 different carts I bought that we used by other folks prior (they worked great and an excellent option if on a budget or to get started in CAS) GG ~

MizPete
Petey built his first gun cart from a couple of plow handles and some scrap pallets he found in the dumpster behind a store in my office complex. Current cart fits in the van without breakdown but I really prefer that first cart.
