July 1, AB 711 (2013), which NRA opposed, is now fully implemented, meaning that the taking of any wildlife with a firearm requires California hunters to use certified "non-lead ammunition".

Dangit, Lumpy... you're on to sumpin' here!

Per the California Department of Fish and Wildlife:  "Since pellet rifles are not firearms, the use of lead projectiles in pellet rifles is not prohibited."

So what's the biggest pellet rifles we can get?  Mebbe someone could clone Meriwether Lewis's Girandoni air rifle!  big-grin.gif
