Maddog McCoy SASS #5672 Posted June 29, 2019 Share Posted June 29, 2019 I bought this for my son to shoot and he prefers my shorter barrel guns. This is a Marlin Cowboy Limited with a 24 inch JM Octagon barrel. I looked thru this rifle and it appears to be mostly a stock gun. Somebody had taken the lever safety out and I put a new one back in and they had lighted the load gate. After that, I did not see anything done to the rifle. I shot it and it feeds ok and did not get a Marlin Jam and I used 38spl (1.42 ovl) and 357 mags (1.50 ovl). Somebody had added some coins and wings to the stock and forearm and it looks nice. I am asking $750.00 shipping included the lower 48 states. FTF available if you are close and want to meet. First "I will take it posted" gets the rifle.
