Raylyn's Benefit Shoot, Oakwood Outlaws

Recommended Posts

The Range Masters (Calico Calie & Denton Dancer)  for the Oakwood Outlaws have given so much to support our gun range and club.   It is time for us to give back, as is the Cowboy way.  Calico Calie (60761 L) & Denton Dancer's (60759 L) granddaughter, Raylyn has been placed on the heart transplant list as 1a status.  She is 6 years old.  Her story is below.  The Oakwood Outlaws is hosting a benefit shoot to help defray the many medical expenses not covered by insurance.  Please consider coming out to the shoot for one day or better yet....both days.  I have attached a flyer with the details.  I will keep the event page on Facebook updated as well.

Who is Raylyn?
Raylyn is the granddaughter of Calico Calie & Denton Dancer.  She was born a healthy, beautiful little girl in October 2012. In December 2012, she fell ill with a virus that affected her heart. In early January 2013, she was placed on the heart transplant list. Raylyn’s heart function improved enough with medication to have her removed from the transplant list. Over the last several months, Raylyn’s heart function started to decline and fail. Medication is no longer working. It was decided to implant a LVAD pump until she receives a new heart. She has been placed back on the heart transplant list status 1a.

We had a great Raylyn Benefit shoot this weekend.  The weather was perfect and it was so good to see everyone.  This was definitely one of those events that demonstrates the SASS cowboy spirit and how we support those in need.

Raylyn and family want to thank everyone for your generosity and prayers. We raised $5,001 for the Raylyn Foundation!!! Thank-you so much to everyone who donated money, goods and services to make this weekend a successful fundraiser and an awesome fun shoot!!

I am posting photo evidence of a good time had by all on our FB page:  https://www.facebook.com/pg/oakwoodoutlaws/photos/?ref=page_internal

God is great.  Wonderful to hear.

God, plus a whole bunch of His doctors, nurses, researchers, donors, and others who daily make miracles like this possible.  Prayers for all of them too.
