BlueEyed Bob has contacted me to say that he has found some help and will put on a Cowboy Action match at Wild West Point this Sunday! This is good news! Bob says, “We’re still shooting in the bottom yard without much cover so if it rains it might be best not to come.” Bob does not have an extensive email list so I am helping him get his message out to all potential shooters! Shooters and contestants will have to judge for themselves if they want to risk getting wet or not. The address is: The West Point Rod and Gun Club 42950 State Route 518 Lisbon, Ohio 44432 This is the address listed on the West Point website. The address on the SASS Wire is listed as West Point, Ohio. Sign up begins at 9:00 am. Safety meeting at 9:45 am. Match begins at 10:00 am! 5 fun-filled scenarios sure to bring a smile to your face! We had a nice cool breeze all day and Blue Eyed Bob even put us in some shade for the first stage! 16 shooters came out to do 5 fun-filled stages and a good time was had by all! Bob and his crew did an excellent job! Thanks Bob! Clean shootin' Rowdy Red Tailor was our first place winner! Congratulations, Rowdy Red! Second place went to Swiftwater Jack and Shootin' Charlie came in third. Some dude named Mo went home with a green ribbon! See you next time!
