Buy a spare spring, and experiment with shortening it........

How much more room do you need for the 5th rnd?

How's about the follower?

Also, I'd take the spring out and just see if 5 rounds fit the tube.

Bet it's that POS plastic follower, like the ones in the M/94's.

1. you can cut the spring as discussed above

2.  you can get a metal follower and remove any of the excessive 'thickness' on the front end.

3.  you can remove a bit of your end cap, the portion that fits inside the tube.   Actually, you can

drill out a small portion of it that would help the spring to sit a fraction of an inch into it.

If you have too, and make sure its pressure safe, you can also seat your bullets just a few .000's

if its that important to you.

..........Widder
