Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967
A bunch of times over the years I've listened to John Wayne reciting the Boy Scout Law, with his own commentaries. Where'd it go? I've been trying to find it, but it seems to have disappeared. I can find videos or audio recordings of other people reading it. I can find videos of his words printed over background photos of the Duke... but I can no longer find a recording of himself. Where'd it go? Sixgun Sheridan
Is that the one where he said that life is hard, and even harder if you're stupid?
Utah Bob #35998
The only one I’ve heard him do is the pledge of allegiance. He did the scout law speech at a dinner to benefit a scout camp. Several articles were written about it but I’ve never heard a recording. http://scoutmaster.org/usscouts/boyscouts/jwlaw.asp
