I'll be the old, bald, short, fat guy with a bunch of "P's", a slow time, and a big smile on my face.

Good thing you'll have a name tag at those matches, you've described 25% the participants; self included...

There wasn't anything wrong with your eyes last Saturday when you ran 6 clean stages in sub 100.

I might be able to get ONE leg into them.

Lefty could barely fit into as it was. If you look you will see that they barely came down to the top of his boots

Blackwater, hope you are well enough to shoot with us. Looking forward to seeing you either way.

I cant see Wider at CaC but you can never know. You can always come shoot with him in about any match in East Tennessee.

As a side note, the Wartrace Regulators will be raffling a NEW Henry Golden Boy Youth .22  already

set up with the Widder Soft Stroke mod and Slater's trigger work.

The Soft Stroke mod includes a short stroke, which lessons lever arch travel approx 1.25".

The Slater trigger work includes a captured trigger spring for the FRONT of the trigger return

spring.  The factory only has the rear captured, which leaves the front loose and suspect to being

'crunched'.   Slater also polishes the trigger sear/hammer cock notch AND puts a trigger

stop into the receiver to prevent trigger overtravel.

These are super nice .22 lever rifles.  And that Henry Golden Boy Youth model is a beautiful little

rifle.

This COMPLETE package could be 'YOURS'.

Good luck to everyone!

Slaters In-House Guns will be a vendor at the Tennessee State Match and He and Widder are bringing about 10-12 new Henry .22 rifles ALREADY modified and ready to sell. They will have the Widder Soft Stroke and Slater trigger job and I understand they'll be priced right.  This will be a chance to pick up a great little rifle without having to wait.

:D

Slater has already sold 3 of them, including yours.   I hope he brings enough.

He's placing a second order this week for a few more.   Looks like I'm gonna be

busy for the next couple weeks getting them all ready.

Thanks.

You know, you are exactly right!

I was wrong.

You'd better write that down on your calendar, cause I don't admit it much:P.

Tyrel,   his expertise is in Ice Cream and Nanner Splits.

The only mistake he usually makes is ordering ONLY 1 Nanner Split..... instead of 2.  :o

Waimea sent me a flyer and he will be there selling bullets with a discount for pre-orders, see attached.

It's getting closer and I just talked to a cowboy that was able to book a room in Tullahoma today. There may still be some rooms out there so book them soon if you plan to come and shoot with us.

Hope to see everyone in 7 weeks!

Those who can, bring your favorite lever/pump .22 to the State match

and participate in the SIDE MATCH SPEED RIMFIRE RIFLE.

Going thru it 1 time will earn you a CHANCE to win a brick (500 rounds) of

CCI Blazer .22 ammo.   Only ONE brick will be awarded.   I think the name

will be drawn Friday evening during the other events.

No, you don't have to win the side match....... just participate atleast for 1 run.

My guess is that you may also have to be present to win, but that will be decided

by then.

And if you don't have a rifle,  buy one from SLATER and shoot it.   He's bringing

a smorgishboard of Henry .22 lever rifles to sell, already modified with the Soft Stroke

and Trigger work.

DISCLAIMER:  If I have stated any wrong info, Whiskey reserves the right to correct

the rules/guidelines.

P.S. - bring your .22 and whoop up on TN Williams.....

I can tell because my hands and arms are starting to quiver .....

PLUS, I received some 'Special GUN Lube' in the mail today that resembled a cup of tar..... :o

It was from an 'anonymous friend'.    Yea, right!

I hear there will be a Josie Wales side match on Thursday.  Bring extra revolvers for that one. Widder, don't forget the vendor appreciation dinner Wednesday night. TW ain't a vendor so there might be enough ice cream to go around!

Randy, are we gonna have all the same side matches? And, most importantly am I going to get another chance at being in the upper echelon with you by cutting the rope at 30 feet with a derringer?!
