Edward R S Canby, SASS#59971
Starting tomorrow through September 1st the annual $2/box rebate on AA shotgun shells is in effect again for up to 50 boxes. Search for "Winchester AA rebate 2019" and you will find the rebate announcement and forms. Time to stock up on "featherlights" for another season. Badlands Bob #61228
I gave up buying Winchester AA when they quit making them round. The base often wouldn't fit into the chamber checker. I chamber checked my shotgun rounds and found I had about a 20% failure rate with AA's. I've found that STS shells are usually round. Even with the discount, a 20% failure rate makes AA's too expensive to shoot in a SxS.
Captain Bill Burt
I’m making that change too Bob, just ordered 4 cases of STS for me and 4 cases of Featherlites for the rest of the clan. That should get us through the summer.
Major BS Walker Regulator
I have less than 20% failure rate so when they don't fit in the checker, I stick them in my super sizer and 9 out of 10 will fit.
Hillbilly Drifter
I have never had an issue with the AAs. I go through about a dozen cases a year for sporting clays and re load the hulls for cowboy.
