Got me a 10" T Post plate. Because paper targets ain't noisy enough.

Also got a 12" gong for 100 yards. :)

I wish I had range for that...and no neighbors. Or neighbors that wouldn’t call the police. :D

A rare thunderstorm moved in or I’d have taken a pic of the 12” gong

Note to self. Bad idea to paint the 100 yd target red and try to hit it with the AR .......using the red dot scope.  Duh.

Why are you afraid of a little thunder and lightning when you're standing next to a steel target and mount?  Where's your spirit of adventure, Bob?  :P

Having cheated death before on several occasions, I have become quite cautious in my golden years. :D

Understandable.  I feel the same way and don't take any chances at all.  ;)

Living in Florida, the lightning capitol of the universe, for half a century I became quite sensitized to the atmospheric eccentricities of the Thunder God (who I hear is doing quite well at the box office this weekend).

If I hear a boom, I go to my room.

You know, looking at the third pic, the M1 scabbard would go really well on the tractor.  ;)

Alas, that ship has sailed. :D

It has some pretty dimples already.

Good ar500 steel. My 250 grainers barely scratched it.

I just ordered a few of those today.

Can't wait to get them and some new AR500 gongs.

I went with 8" gongs since MidwayUSA has them on sale for $16.99 with free shipping on orders over $49.
