"Recognizable car"

What would that mean to you?

 

 

Would that be "it's a Ford Torino, duh", or more like, "that red car with the white stripe - that's Starsky's car, man - I'd recognize it anywhere"?

My guess would the latter.  As an LEO, we always loved those  "one of a kind" cars, personalized license plates, or unusual tattoos. A bright blue, jacked up Mustang, with "flames" on the hood and a "Hellraiser" decal in the rear window was a lot easier to find that a red Ford Focus.

My car must not be that recognizable because today I walked up to what I thought was mine and couldn't open the back. I tried 2 times then looked at the plate. Right color, right make. A year or two off. It was about 5 places away from mine. My wife and I got a laugh out of that.
