Yep,  The answer was Woody Guthrie but Emma said Arlo, Woody's son, close but no cigar!:o

That’s to bad, I liked her.

Jeopardy is pretty tough on players responses. In this case I wonder if only answering " Guthrie" would have been accepted? Most of the time last names are ok but in this case with father and son they may have said you have to be more specific.

I'll have to watch the episode tonight when I get home to see how she did.  She had a pretty good Payday for only 3 wins.  i was hoping she'd last at least 5 as I believe that is what qualifies you for an invite to the Tournament of Champions and I'd have liked to see a possible rematch.

It will be interesting to see if James, Ken and Brad all end up in that final.  It will be interesting to see who comes out on top of that one...

Probably not in this case. Alex has asked for specification in the past.

It was a quote that Woody Guthrie said NOT Arlo! I forget what it was...............So you had to answer Woody!

Just finished watching last nights show that was on late because of the hockey game. Sorry to see her go. IMHO, the game is much more interesting when they play it like they are now versus starting at the top and working down.

I agree, all the previous champs who lasted more than a week played like that! Better chance of hitting the Doubles!
