The sturgeon-nosed canoe, also known as a Kootenay Canoe or Kootenay-nosed Canoe, was a distinctive canoe style used by the Sinixt, Ktunaxa and Kalispel First Nations in Interior British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest into the last century.
