John E.B. Rawton
Today was my first day out to the range with my new shootin’ irons. I spent the fall and winter prepping my new percussions and converting my Walkers back to c&b. As a complete newbie to shooting cap guns, I did a bit of studying and today was hands on. I plan on goin’ all Josey Wales so Saturday will be busy. I also loaded up some bp shot shells for the first time. I was able to run 30 shots through each gun without needing to spray or lube during the day which pleased me. In the video you can see the percussion rattle the table and phone a bit. Love those cannons. Smokeless never did them justice. 853ADEF7-44D6-48F7-88BC-01EF9599C75A.MOV 853ADEF7-44D6-48F7-88BC-01EF9599C75A.MOV 7D90582E-5C94-48A2-AB3B-8DC68DE85C20.MOV

John E.B. Rawton
It was a gorgeous day at Logan’s Ferry Regulators first shoot of the year. The prep paid off and I had a successful day in the sense that all cap guns worked flawlessly. I added some leather ties to hold the walker loading levers up. Hit most, missed a couple.
