Subdeacon Joe
Doesn't look like the hero type, does he? https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/southwest-valley/2017/01/24/phoenix-man-gives-emotional-recount-taking-life-save-trooper/97005886/

Glad he turned his life around. https://bearingarms.com/bob-o/2017/01/25/hero-saved-arizona-trooper-felon-restored-gun-rights/ Quote Maricopa County Superior Court records show a felony charge of theft from the year 2000, which later was reduced to a misdemeanor. According to court records, Yoxall admitted to stealing electronics items from a group home where he worked. When petitioning the judge to reduce his felony conviction, Yoxall stressed that he was eager to be restored his right to bear arms. A felony conviction strips individuals of their right to possess a firearm, but they may be allowed the opportunity to have those rights reinstated. “Before this incident, I was an avid shooter,” Yoxall wrote in 2003. “… I miss owning a gun. I miss shooting with my friends as well as my son. I hope, if nothing else, you will reinstate my civil rights to include the right to bear arms once again.” In October 2003, a Superior Court judge vacated Yoxall’s guilty judgment and restored his right to possess a gun. Forty Rod SASS 3935
Heroes come in all shapes, sizes, ages, genders , and backgrounds. I've known several and only one looked like a hero. He was a slender, wirey muscled fire fighter who saved a young couple, their daughter, and the family dog....getting out just before a wall collapsed and injured him. Pat Riot
Looks can be deceiving. I hope he fairs well well in life and this doesn’t haunt him.
Badlands Bob #61228
I wouldn't have picked him for a hero, but I would have been wrong too. Thankfully, he was there and did what he did.
