I recently (last fall) bought a pair of Axil Ghost Stryke. They have worked great for me at CAS events. I can hear conversations and the buzzer but they do a great job with the gun noise. here is a link https://www.goaxil.com/ghost-stryke-essential/#shopify-product-reviews

Shop around for cheap a pair of "in your ear' hearing aids  that has multiple channels so one of the channels can be adjusted to cut out sound at 85 decibels.  Otherwise, you will be be wearing an ear muff type of electronic ones like the one posted
