Kansas: House Overwhelmingly Passes Permit Recognition Legislation

Recommended Posts

Today, the Kansas House passed permit recognition legislation, House Bill 2326, by a final vote of 83 to 41.  HB 2326 now heads to the Senate for further consideration.  Please contact your state Senator and strongly urge them to SUPPORT House Bill 2326 when it comes up for a vote.

House Bill 2326 seeks to recognize all out-of-state concealed carry permits and allow those who have been licensed to carry a firearm for self-defense to do so lawfully in Kansas.  HB 2326 was also amended by Rep. Stephen Owens to allow individuals who are 18 years of age and up to apply for a Kansas concealed carry permit.

Again, please contact your state Senator and strongly urge them to SUPPORT House Bill 2326.
