Civil War Caps

Years ago I visited the Cold Harbor battlefield in Virginia. While there I saw caps for sale, and couldn't decide on a blue or grey one. Eventually I got both and told the cashier it was so I could quickly swap caps depending on who I was speaking to! :blink:

The Bummer was a far superior forage cap than the stupid leather 1833 model. Military fashion can be weird.
