Pat Riot Posted March 8, 2019 Share Posted March 8, 2019 I never truly appreciated what it took to cook like that until I tried it myself. Being the camp / trail cook took one heckuva lot of work. This morning, I just finished making fried eggs, biscuits w/jam, pork/sage sausage, and red eye gravy from the drippings. I now know I was missing the open fire and the chuck wagon........ Dang.
