I carved this with my machine in cherry wood. It's 4' long and the photos don't really show the details with the mountains in the back ground. You can also see the people riding inside the coach, one a woman wearing a fancy hat.

In the remake of 3:10 to Yuma there is a scene where a desperado tries to throw dynamite at a stage coach but ends up blowing up himself and his horse as well. Of course it was CGI, but animal-rights people protested anyway. My own mother refused to see it because of that scene, even though I kept telling her it isn't actually real.

I’m still trying to figure my Carvewright out. Every time I get started I get frustrated and go do something else. That is a beautiful carving.

Very big learning curve for that machine. Took me a very dedicated long year of taking it apart, put it back together. Tough machine to learn and each has its own quirks to boot. Then you have to computer program to learn. But, once figured out one heck of a machine.

Looks like you’ve got it mastered. I remember the bedroom set you built a few years ago.

Beautiful!! Right after you finished this a few years ago you posted about it, I believe. Didn’t you also tell quite a bit about how you built it? I’d like to read that again.

I remember it being a complicated build especially the undercarriage. The braces the coach rests on are simulated leather, causing a rocking motion. That motion was not for the passengers comfort but to ease the strain on the horses., Yul that about all I remember..Im building a slightly bigger one now.
