William Sycamore
I just picked up a Uberti 166 Musket, complete with bayonet. I've never seen one before, except for originals. When did Uberti make these?
Nickel City Dude
They still make them but it can take a year to get a new one from Uberti.
Earl Brasse, SASS #3562
Nickle City is on the money. Neat gun, I regret not buying the one I saw for sale some years back. They made them in 44-40 Win & .45 Colt.

William Sycamore
I think it's a pretty cool little gun. Can SASS add bayoneting as a sub category?
Carolina Gunslinger
Bayonetting is fun...did it at a reenactment once. They had canvas seabags filled with straw and hung up. It's very good exercise. It's like a punching bag but you can be so much more agressive.
The Aggie Rifleman, SASS#55213
I've had one for years...its a great gun and even greater conversation piece. With the bayonet (aka period correct anti sweep/break 170 device...you will smack something before you do either!) it's a blast to shoot. It doesn't matter since SASS won't let us load the thing to the max but I'm fairly certain it will hold 15+ 45LCs. Now as for rules/regulations we had a discussion on this a few months back. There's nothing wrong with shooting SASS with the bayonet.

Howlin Mad Murdock SASS #4037
The 1866 musket in .45 Colt holds 13, uses the same mag tube as the 24" rifles. The 1873 musket has a longer barrel and mag tube and holds 15 IIRC.
The Aggie Rifleman, SASS#55213
I would love to have the 1873 in musket form! (plus a 1886 too!)
