Straight Arrow Hombre
I’ve had the pleasure of handling and shooting a few of Carty’s Miroku 73s and they are the best I’ve experienced. Amazing action work.

David Balthazar
TGC, thank you for taking the time to post this video! It simply amazes me how fast people with the skill sets can work these lever guns (and SA revolvers, and doubles...).

Three Gun Cole
The factory stroke measures 6-3/8” from stock screw to point of lever. Carty rifle measures 4-7/8”

From what I understand Carty sets them at the SASS minimum, which is the same as a 4th/5th gen C&I kit.

Ninety Caliber Al, 50218
Wonder what the main mechanical difference is between the Miroku and the Uberti?
Juan Solo
Quite a few mechanical differences actually. The lever cams where the springs ride and the lever/lifter springs are very different. The carrier and the lever arm, the arm has a ball on the end and the channel it rides in is different as well as a slight change to the carrier to eject brass forward more. The firing pin extension has the drop safety in it. The main spring and the way it fits on the hammer is more like a SAA. The miroku seems more like a refinement of the 73 more than an attempt at a clone.

I own a Uberti, so no experience with the Miroku. Thank you for the info!
Three Gun Cole
Been shooting Colt McAllister tuned Uberti’s since 2003, just started shooting the Carty tuned Winchester. Absolutely love the Winchester. Was about .4-.5 seconds faster with the Winchester in the first week. loved it enough to go thru the hassle of have a second rifle made. (2018 shotshow rifle not available in 357)
Three Gun Cole
The Winchester doesn’t feel much different, hammer up or hammer back, when levering. I don’t know how Carty does it. The feel of running the lever is amazing
