Shipping Ammunition

Recommended Posts

Been awhile since I shipped any ammunition and now UPS tells me that the corporate policy is that only dealers can ship.  Just sold some ammo to a Pard on here and am stumped on how to get it to him.  Any advise.  Legal advise.

You might have to take it directly to a UPS hub, not a local franchise of UPS.  Unless UPS has changed their policy very recently they are fine with shipping ammo via ground, just be sure to put an ORM-D label on it.

And properly packed, etc.  Was it a UPS Office or a store front?

Here in town, the desk clerk doesn't know who BATF is?

UPS Store.  The hub is a hike!

Those stores do not have the security/bond room to store safely before shipment.

Go to the hub.

You'll need a ORM-D, Haz-Mat sticker(UPS has'em)and can't be shipped to a PO box.

Make sure the state you are shipping to allows this......

I ship all mine Fedex from a Fedex shipping center, not a fedex office.
