Shooting Bull
A couple of the loops on my bandolier are looser than the others. That means all the shells don’t sit or stay even. Not good. What’s the best LEGAL way to tighten up a shotshell loop?

Garrison Joe, SASS #60708
Leather? Here's a household tip on how to shrink leather. It would take dummy shotshells (or similar size wood dowels) placed in the water-and-rubbing-alcohol soaked leather loops to keep them from over shrinking, I would imagine. Remember to recondition the leather after drying to restore oil. https://www.ehow.com/how_8413266_shrink-leather-alcohol.html Good luck, GJ
Yul Lose
Switch the leather out for elastic and you’ll be glad you did.

Sedalia Dave
You can wrap the loop with a little light weight leather lacing.
Kid Rich
Cut a small cardboard insert and stick it in the loop. I've done it to 12 ga when I was shooting 20 ga and didn't have a 20 ga belt. The cardboard stays put and can easily be taken back out if you want. kR

TN Mongo, SASS #61450
Try inserting some small pieces of leather (different thicknesses) into the loop and find a thickness that holds it like you want. Contact cement that piece into the loop. Essentially, you're adding a leather liner to your loop or pouch. Put a couple stitches next to the original stitch line to make the loop smaller. Yeah Bob, but the time spent trying to stuff those 10 gaugers into that 12 wouldn't be worth it.
Guest Texas jack Black SASS#9362
Just wet the loops and they WILL shrink. So will canvas loops and even the fabric that some call elastic which is woven material with rubber threading .
