Cheyenne Ranger, 48747L
yep, always a great feeling once the first one is under your belt. Now you can concentrate on breathing during the stages next time. I always wondered why everything got dim and I got tunnel vision during my early matches. Good Pard reminded me to breathe and everything stayed bright and clear. glad to have you among us Cowboys

Major BS Walker Regulator
I yes, my first match, remember it well. Even though it was ten years ago. My knees finally quit shaking, or at least relocated to my hands. Every match gets better and better. Welcome to SASS World

Tooslow
It was a great experience. I know where my weak points are and know what to practice and improve upon. I will be attending a new shooters clinic this weekend so I should be on the right track. Thanks for everyone's help and encouragement! Father Kit Cool Gun Garth
When shooting your first match, jitters are usually prevalent, I know they were in my case. Glad to see you made it through with SASS blood coursing through your veins. Like a vampire, your thirst for that blood will only grow stronger. Welcome to the family. Hairtrigger Hayes
Congratulations and welcome to the BEST shooting sport in the World! You're about to embark upon a journey that will take you lots of places and introduce you to some of the most unforgettable moments and people of your entire life. I remember my first match, I had loaded just enough ammo to go compete for one day. I had so much fun I rushed home, tumbled brass, and loaded them all back up so I could go back the very next day! That was 7.5 years ago and I still get an adrenaline rush just before the buzzer on the first stage of the day. I hope you get a chance to come down to the Texas Ten Horns here in N. Texas sometime. In the mean time maybe I'll run into you at the SW regional the Territorial Marshals will be hosting this April. My best regards, HTH
