The Rainmaker, SASS #11631
Waimea has great deals on bullets (not cartridges) as well. www.outlawbullets.com

The Rainmaker, SASS #11631
For cartridges, Midway has Magtech for $0.76 a round. Great folks to deal with too. Just google 44-40 ammo, you can usually find people who have no shipping charges too.
Jailhouse Jim, SASS #13104
Midway has Black Hills Cowboy 44-40 ammunition if that's what you're looking for. They have a cool box too https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1001896568/black-hills-cowboy-action-ammunition-44-40-wcf-200-grain-lead-flat-nose-box-of-

The last 38 Special I saw at Walmart was $21/50 so this isn't too out of line for a major manufacturer considering the caliber. All the other manufacturers from Cheaper than Dirt run $36-$45/50 so that seems the going price for new ammunition.
The Original Lumpy Gritz
That's about 'rite'. Starline shows .24-.25 cents a case when you buy 1K. That works out to $11.20 @ 50 rnds. https://www.starlinebrass.com/order-online/cowboy-vintage.cfm OLG
