Smoky Pistols
Apparently, although a sad reminder of the times we live in, it really does exist and has some decent reviews. https://www.amazon.com/Night-Dad-Went-Jail-Challenges/dp/1479521426
Charlie Harley, #14153
Our church has a robust prison ministry. It’s been a personal eye opener to see the various facets and angles of our penal system.

Ramblin Gambler
I didn't need no book to help me understand that. Before he went, daddy told me all about that sorry piece of ... trash and how he deserved much worse than what he got. He told us all about him. Even the neighbors. Michigan Slim
Mom. Dad. Thank you for the secure home and upbringing you gave me. I love you and will see you soon. They fought, don't get me wrong. But my house was pretty stable compared to most of my friends.
Pat Riot
The book I could have used as a kid would have been "The night Dad went to jail and how to keep him there".

Sixgun Sheridan
My dad could really be a d**k at times, but fortunately he was never physically abusive and never did anything to deserve being tossed in jail. He did sorely need to go to AA and take a mandatory class on how to be a better husband and father, though.
Badlands Bob #61228
I've got no complaints. My Dad was the shining example of what a father is supposed to be. I just hope I did as well by my kids.
Abilene Slim SASS 81783
I'm personally familiar with the topic. It's really sad there's a need for this kind of book in our society.

The “stories” would be too complex for my simple writing. I’ll just say that society typically only sees one individual who committed a crime and deserves to go to jail. And I have no problem with acknowledging the validity of that single point of view. It’s when the view is widened and deepened that complexities start to appear, and the choices are not nearly as black and white as we’d like them to be. Allie Mo, SASS No. 25217
I think I understand, Charlie. That is akin to bigotry or prejudice against blacks, LEOs, and other identifiable groups.
