Bad Bascomb, SASS # 47,494
Searching for carbide dies for .357 Sig with no luck yet. Anyone aware of a source? If none exist, a basic set from Lee will likely do, as this will be a low-volume enterprise. Thanks!

Widder, SASS #59054
Dillon advertises they sell carbide sets for the .357 SIG for only..... $152.95 The carbide sizing die by itself is ...... $116.95 It being a bottle neck case makes the carbide type die a rare thing. You didn't ask, but I will mention it anyway. I shoot the .357 SIG in both a SIG P320 and a SIG P229 Legend. It is a great cartridge. I resize my brass with a carbide .40 cal/10mm die. Then, without using any lube, I neck size it using a standard .357 SIG die. The .40/10mm carbide die (Hornady brand) seems to resize the body just enough that no lube is required when I use the standard sizing die (Redding) just to resize the neck. And I might add that I have my dies set up to resize my brass to headspace on the shoulder. Some folks prefer to headspace on the case mouth. Actually, I think most folks headspace on the case mouth but I have found great results using the shoulder, although small, as my preferred headspace. EDIT: Dillon phone ...... 800 / 223-4570 or 480 / 948-8009 ..........Widder
