El Hombre Sin Nombre
Any idea if this will fit a 71/72 open top?
Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329
Hey Kid: I don't think so. The body of the cylinder is just under 1.5" because of the conversion ring on the RM. I believe the Open Top cylinders are bit longer because they have no conversion ring. --Dawg

As mentioned by Dawg it goes to the R. Mason open top conversion with the conversion ring.

And with such a beautiful cylinder, a bit of wishful thinking might have been involved on my part

Just trying to save y’all some shipping.

Colorado Coffinmaker
WOW!! If one had a 44/45 R-M on hand, with this cylinder and the barrel on offer, one could build a rather nice Snubbie just for the cost of an OEM barrel. KOOL!!
