18 when the series finished.

I was 6 or 7 when I was watching 16 year old Wrangler Jane on F-Troop.

Didn't know why at the time, but I really enjoyed looking at her:wub:.

I remember thinking why don't mom and dad hire a babysitter like that when they go out?

Speaking of F Troop, When I was stationed at RCAF Stn Val d'Or, Quebec  back in the 60's when F Troop was on TV.  We had USAF pers stationed with us and together we renamed the base, Fort Courage and all personnel belonged to F Troop.  We built a guard tower out of spruce logs out in front of the jr ranks mess.  The senior USAF officer would appear periodically wearing a period U.S. Cavalry uniform complete with sabre.  The whole thing was the brain wave of the Base Commander who promoted the whole thing as a morale booster.  They even had rubber stamps made for internal use on documents, such as 1st Sgt F Troop, Commander F Troop, etc. We were stationed way up in the sticks of northern Quebec on an Air to Air nuclear base where -50F was common during the winter.  The only important thing missing was Wrangler Jane.....sigh.  Another one that most agreed was a 10, was Samantha on Bewitched.  Ah! The good old days....gone forever.

That’s one of my favorite movies. Wimmen in wooden bathtubs in the old west doesn’t get any better.

Annette didn't wear a bikini. In all them beach pictures she wore a one-piece.

She sometimes wore a two piece suit but very conservative. Until the last movie.

“Walt Disney initially asked Annette Funicello not to wear a bikini, but she finally donned the popular swimsuit style in the last Beach Party instalment. (Walt Disney/Assouline/Associated Press)”

“According to Annette, old Walt was severely against her even donning a bikini, as he thought it would tarnish her image, as well as Disney's. (I can't neglect to point out the fact that Annette's bikini is hardly "skimpy;" it is hilariously big and full, almost a one-piece swimsuit with an inch or two sliced out of the middle.)”

Yeah, I remember my mother and aunts pitching a fit over how disgraceful that was and how Disney was pornographic. I wanted to see more chicks in bikinis.

I have a photo of the watch tower somewhere with my stuff ????  When we saw the USAF commander in the Cav uniform, we were never near a camera.    He didn't wear it everyday of course. Of all the times I saw him, he was only in that uniform was maybe twice. There was a photo of him in the base newsletter, but not smart enough to have kept a copy.
