J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE
Here is the actual regulation, it is extremely vague and broad. https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2018/12/26/2018-27763/bump-stock-type-devices To that end I have a proposal for a Grassroots revolt. Let's turn in all the bump fire devices we can find. Old boards with 2 nail + bumpfire device rubber scraps= Bump fire device if you use your imagination, pretty much any trash in your home could be a bump fire device. Imagine the impact of turning over tons of "bump fire devices" of this nature. Truckloads of busted up pallet wood and old drywall screws, old tires etc. The BATFE offices could not function. If they write vague regulations, then we should use those vague regulations to make their lives miserable until the regulations are repealed. Link to comment
Blackwater 53393
The idea has merit! Reckon we could convince BATF or whoever that those wire racks out in the shop are bump stocks?? We could cut ‘em up and bend ‘em up and spray camo patterns all over ‘em!! it’s an inside joke, y’all!! Link to comment
Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967
"Here is the actual regulation, it is extremely vague and broad." That's stating it mildly. One hundred twenty-two pages to state a nebulous policy that demands people destroy or surrender property without compensation. We're hosed. Link to comment
