For Christmas:

Its Highly Unlikely that I will get a new gun..... :(

Its Highly Unlikely that the Bunkhouse Boss will switch up my Alergy pill with Viagra..... :o

And right now, its Highly Unlikely that my stocking hanging on the fireplace will be any

more full tomorrow morning than it was this morning..... which is flat.....

I probably deserve everything I don't get.....

Well, here are to the things you will get. The love of family and friends, the respect of those of us here, and hopefully a healthy tomorrow!

Merry Christmas.

The wife and I have no more family alive and those that are live over 1500 miles away. We decided this year not to do anything and just be another day. House/yard no decorations, no tree, no nothing. We use to go out on Christmas day for a movie and out to eat and will not do that. Sad, but Christmas is over for us. Not even a lump of coal that's for sure. Christmas is for those which have family. Didn't even go out to see the lights or special shopping. Yep, that season is truly over for us. :(

But I sure do wish everyone a Joyous and Merry Christmas!!

I hope you have children in your lives for the season!

My wife and I are a family. Other members are at least 1,000 miles away. Our son has passed away. It is difficult to summon much Christmas spirit but we manage, warmed by memories of the past. I will keep those memories alive and hope that others are making their own joyful memories as we did many times.

Merry Christmas to all.

I got a pair of Gripmakers faux ivory grips for each of my matched pair of 1860 Colt (Uberti) Army six guns with 3 screw "civilian" frames and with no cutaways for stocks.   (Couldn't wait to open them up and get them on the guns.)

After I cuddle and coddle them for awhile I'll send them back to Russ N/ Hound for his masterful laser "scrimshaw" work.  Then off to Montana for holsters and gun belts.  By March I should be well=rigged and able to star eating something besides crackers and beans again.  It will be well worth it.

Christmas is not my favorite time of year. Thirty eight years as a police officer just leaves too many bad memories. It will be a quiet day here. The fact that my dad died unexpectedly on Christmas Day doesn’t help

My wife, when she was 8 years old, lost her Mom in a car wreck on Christmas Eve.

We were married 11 years before our daughter was born and each of those years, Christmas

carried its sad and heart broken memories for her.   After our daughter was born,

Christmas became a much happier time for her (and me, of course).

Christmas time, with all its glitter and sharing of good deeds towards others, can be

tough on many because of certain circumstances and sad memories.

My dearest thoughts are with our military folks, especially those stationed abroad in

conflicts.   I spent 2 Christmas overseas and each one made me miss home more and more.

What does anybody means they dont have family anymore? Ya got us, we your family, even if ya never met us. I have cowboy family all over the world, lots have never heard my name or seen my face but if we were in the same room we would be family in a few minutes , just because of Cowboy. Maybe if you listen a little harder you can hear the bells from Santa's sleigh again.

Imis I mourn your losses and celebrate your gains, i am your family

Howdy,

Just for a moment stop and think about how many things

we have that kings of yesterday would envy.

A carriage that will go much faster than any horse.

A house warm as toast without having to chop one stick of wood.

Guns that put their whole army to shame.

Fresh food from around the world.

Entertainment without limit.

Medicine.

And what else can you name????

Best wishes for the new year, pards.

CR
