Attica Jack #23953
Any shooters out there using coated bullets from Bayou Bullets, 44 mag. and 45 acp?
Charles B. Gatewood SASS #48517
I've only used their .38/105's. Good quality, fast shipping and quick response to questions. CBG

Attica Jack #23953
From what I have read, is that the coated bullets smoke less and leave little if any leading in the bores.
Dusty Boddems
Zero leading in my 9mm. I’ve shot about 4000 rounds so far without cleaning the barrel and it still looks perfect. Bayou uses hitek coating . You can even pick out the color you want!
Smokin Gator SASS #29736
I've been using their bullets for quite a while. 200 gr. .45 cal swc. Also 38 special 160 gr. and 135 gr 9mm. I believe they were the first or one of the first with the hi tec coating in the U.S. Donnie Miculek, Jerrys brother. They frequently have free shipping or 10% off sales. Great bullets and fast shipping.
SouthwestShooter
I uses their 38 and 45 for wild bunch. Great bullets.
Attica Jack #23953
Thanks for the replies. I am out of 45 acp and 44 mag. lead bullets and need to get some. Although leading has never been problem, thought I would try some Hi-tec coated bullets.

Smokin Gator SASS #29736
I recently got some of their 240 gr. 44 cal swc bullets to load some Skeeter Skelton loads for my 44 special Ruger flat top. Decided to try them in my Marlin and they cycled fine. I've loaded some hotter loads in magnum cases to try in the Marlin and see how the coated bullets work at higher velocity.
