While the laws still suck, NY, MA, MD, CT & NJ have all been relatively quiet lately when comes to more anti-gun laws.  Aside from laws against bump stocks I don't recall any major anti-gun legislation.  The states I mentioned may be reluctant to push for further laws given the current makeup of the Supreme Court.  There were rumors that NJ, NYC & MD asked Washington DC not to appeal to the Supreme Court when DC lost an en banc hearing regarding DC's permitting process in 2017.  DC is now "shall issue" when it comes to CCW.

Gun Control has little to with logic or common sense, it's mostly an emotional reaction to shootings as well as trying to control people.

 

And 10 is far better than 5, 6, or 7 rounds.
