Halloween Costume Thread

Recommended Posts

So what are y'all dressing up as for Halloween?

My company is crazy into celebrating.  Today is our Halloween party.  Some offices even had a "Bloody Mary Bar".  Kids will be coming in later to Trick-or-treat in the cubes in the offices and all are invited to dress up.

I work from home, but that didn't stop me.  Our software allows you to use a "Green Screen" to show behind you in meetings.  So it was fun to use to create my "Stinky Pete" box from "Toy Story 2".

Post your favorite costumes from this year on this thread:

If you aren't familiar with the character, then shame on you.  He was voiced by Kelsey Grammer as the "villain" in the movie.  A couple of "Outtakes"

I am going to work dressed as a very happy person. I am giving “notice” soon.

Where I work only the non-essential office folks that think the world revolves around them get to dress up. It is frowned on otherwise....

Just make sure you don't re-create outtake #2 or you'll be giving out raw onions instead of candy...:blink:<_<

I wear western clothes most of the time anyway, but tomorrow, I'll don my hat and double sided rig, minus my 6-guns.

I'm going as a CAS cowboy. One of the engineers I work with calls me "Gunslinger" from Stephen King's Dark Tower.

When I was a kid back in the 80's I once went Trick or Treating dressed up as a soldier, and I wore a genuine WW2 pistol belt and holster from my dad's collection along with a very realistic M1911A1 replica. Nobody said anything as I went from house to house gathering candy with that thing in my hand. Times have definitely changed as these days you never use realistic-looking replica weapons as Halloween props regardless of your age.

County will not allow us to dress up for Halloween.

Shame though, even the squirrels are getting into the spirit of the holiday. :P

Dressing up in a costume is NOT legal in your County? I don't see how they could pass a law like that

I read that as he WORKS for the county, and county employees are forbidden.

Festus. I was unaware that dogs had bones in their ears.

What does the sign say?

The note reads - Marty the Musher says '"Don't pet my undead dogs! They bite!" Ever since my team ate that guy during the 2003 Yukon Quest, my lawyer insists I post a legal disclaimer.

The pups pulling my sled were actually Dire Wolves when they were alive so maybe that's why they have those big ear bones. I'm NOT going to ask them about it, Dire wolves can be very sensitive about their appearance.

One year I dressed Cowboy in a Recollections dress.  Then the Cereal Killer handed me her ax and, all of a sudden, I was Lizzie Borden.
