I have to Share... They are pre-selling my book!!!

I wrote a book on making log furniture, a book I have been planning for twelve years of trial and tribulation. I have not seen the finished product yet, but I stumbled across this today on Amazon... How cool is that! I used the money they paid so far to get into CAS.

Congratulations. I’ve always wanted to learn how to do that.

So they are pre-selling them before they even gave you a copy?

Congratulations, Cholla!

That's bound to make you proud, and rightfully so.  Nicely done.

That is so neat.  I don't have the patience to sit and write a book.  Wish I did because I have soooo much knowledge built up in my lil' punkin'.  I have contemplated building rustic furniture.  Even looked at buying the tools, the big drill and the log sharpener thingy to bring it down to dowel size but then my attention deficit kicks in and I loose interest.

Good for you though.  Great accomplishment.

So do we all get a "complementary" copy?

Imis

Yes, if you send $19.99 plus shipping and handling...

Yes. I am proofreading the pdf version now. It should be going to the printer in the next few weeks.

Thanks, but Yul has much more patience and skill than I do. That's why I like rustic and log furniture because it doesn't take the same amount of attention to detail. I have seen Yul's gun carts and they are far beyond me!

My book started shipping Monday! It's already got a five-star review from someone I don't actually know. Someone on Amazon is selling a copy for $65 when it lists for $19.99 and sells for $13.99. How crazy is that???

Got mine yesterday Was showing it to the wife and it opened to a page titled "Removing bark the hard way"  :o

What's up with that????  I thought this book was going to show me the EASY way.

Cholla, now that I have pulled your chain.  I glanced through the book and like what I saw.  Thanks. :)

I go over the easy way as well. I suspect in Texas the time for it should be soon.

Nice, and congratulations.  One of these years I'd like to write a book about dutch oven cooking for Scouts.

You should. The books that are available are dwindling.
