Too Tall Bob
Original OP (Cheyenne Culpepper) states: PM is asked about stage, the PM gives the shooter the wrong information and then shooter shoots the stage other than was intended. The PM gave the incorrect info before the stage was read (Sinola Kid stated: “the pm told the shooter upon arrival to the stage. Not at the line or during the stage instructions.“). The shooter had the same opportunity to LISTEN to the reading of the stage and understand what were clear and concise instructions. (See Phantom’s previous post with stage instructions). It is clearly stated to make SG safe before moving to posit #2. The shooter is responsible for understanding the stage (especially if he/she had a written copy of the stage in possession). The shooter should receive a P and there are no grounds for a reshoot in my opinion. The onus of understanding falls upon the shooter. Think about this - shooter reshoots correctly, drops an additional 2-3 seconds off his/her time resulting in a higher position in rank. How is that fair to other shooters?
