Smoken D
I remember the day like it was not long ago. A few days after things settled down I was given a personal tour of the system. Man, was it something, there was these big machines on the entire 5th floor with reels going 500mph forward and backward. A few years later I was one of the few cops using a computer patrol car and what an experience that was. And that was 44 years ago. Now cops have that entire 5th floor in the palm of their hands. There were folks from all over the world that came to see that system. K.C.MO.P.D. was well advanced than any other department in the world back then. Chief Kelly was the one that made it possible and what a Chief he was. Then the dang F.B.I. (in your face) done went and took him from us. What a person Chief Kelly was, it was like 7-8 years after I meet him, he walked up to me and knew my name. Was always told once Chief Kelly meet you, he never forgot you or your name. The security on the 5th floor was tighter than Fort Knox
