Dawg Hair, SASS #29557
I've seen this clip probably a dozen times and always laugh my butt off when he talks about Pres. Truman scuffing up his shoes. R.I.P., Sir.
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
I think it’s remarkable that he remembers that so many years later, it was one of the most memorable things of the day.

It’s kind of amazing how some details are imprinted on the memory while others dissapate like mist at sunrise. I have some 50 year old memories that are as fresh and detailed as if they happened yesterday.

Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Thanks for the post. Bob. Some of those returns look like they could use a lot of TLC. Hope they all find a good home.
Abilene Slim SASS 81783
Looks like there are a number of 1960's M1s that were rebuilt to milspec and then shipped to the Philippines as military aid. It appears many were never issued and their condition is due to the environment in which they were stored. The wood might be suspect, but the hardware appears to be excellent. Could be a lot of good shooters in there.
