Mustang Gregg Posted September 2, 2018 Share Posted September 2, 2018 Was a success----- Even though it was a NEBRASKA Football Saturday, the long Labor Day weekend and also very hot + humid. We did six stages and a field trip to WORK N RANCH. WORK N RANCH has the best selection of Old West duds in the Midwest! And they are only a couple of miles from the range! There was getting ammo out of a milk bucket, chicken choking and craps shooting. We still do the "funstuff", like was common in SASS about 15+ years ago. Anyway, many thanks to those who came and especially those who helped set up and takedown. We are hoping to have our normal first Saturday match at the Ikes on 06 Oct. The only reason that we can't is if we can't get somebody to let us in the gate and help run the shoot. That's because I'm going in for hip surgery and only be 2 weeks into recuperation and I won't be able to lift anything. Keep in touch when time gets closer and I'll have a report for you whether we're going to shoot on the of 6th October or not. WE HOPE SO! And before I forget, we had 2 brand new shooters: Miss Mary the Duelist Riverboat Red the Buckeroo. They were both excellent shooters!!!
