Four-Eyed Buck,SASS #14795 Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 I had a '72 Pinto wagon, butterscotch color with fake woodie sides. the wife learned how to drive stick on that one. Later we had a '79 Bobcat with the glass hatchback. They had to repaint it at their cost as the factory paint bubbled and actually came off when hit with an air gun in the body shop

Little wonder customers left in droves to buy imports. It was a hard lesson, but fortunately Detroit is doing a far better job since then.
