Widder, SASS #59054
At present, I own a nice mid-70's OVATION 12 string acoustic electric guitar. It plays really well. ANYHOW, I been thinking about getting a new 12-string acoustic electric and right now, I'm leaning to the Takamine (Tock a mean ee). Your opinion on what YOU may own and play will be appreciated. Around here in E.TN, there seems to be a lot of Taylor, Martin, Guild,..... and a few Blueridge and Fender brands. Thanks for your .02 ..........Widder

DocWard
I'm not a 12 string owner or player, but I've heard nothing but positive things about Takamine guitars.
J-BAR #18287
My Gibson B45 twelve string was a joy, I accompanied Glen Campbell records in the late 60s. It went to a classmate in Veterinary College when expenses got tight.
Dantankerous
Buy whatever 12-string guitar Glen Campbell used to play and play it like he did. You can't go wrong with that.

Clay Mosby
Widder, I have a Takamine EG523SC-12 and absolutely love it! My hands aren't very strong, but I find that with a set of ultra-light strings it plays well and has a rich but delicate sound that I like. I bought mine used about 8-9 years ago in near perfect condition at Guitar Center. Paid $350 for it.

Shotgun Willie Nelson
I once't picked up a Taylor in a shop in Austin and played Smoke on the Water with it. Got some funny looks from some of those "Classical" guys. Don't understand why. Classic rock is classical aint it?
Chickasaw Bill SASS #70001
I should have added this was in 1991 or so don't know if Kamman music still owns the brand they owned Tac and Ovation at the time CB
