Grampaw Willie, SASS No.26996
Know the Enemy the enemy operates on an emotional basis reading Sharyl Attkisson's The Smear is a good start. I suspect Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals is probably also suggested reading the opposition strategy is to play upon the prejudices of the people. This strategy has been weakened significantly since the late 1990's with the advent of the WWW remember, the Old Sage tesches: what the First Amendment means: Quote If you own the press you can print what you want within some limits, of course-- no threats, slander, false reports, that sort of thing. but if you don't like hat your government is doing -- great! that's the main idea behind the first amendment's Freedom of Speech, and of the Press, and of the Right to Assemble and to petition... with the loss of Net Neutrality there will be new questions regarding "who owns the press" ? Does your ISP own the press? In some countries internet freedom is strictly controlled by government. some of these questions may not seem to be directly related to the Second Amendment. but in the end, they really are: the Bill of Rights is essentially Rx for Tyranny. it prohibits to the government the tyrant's favorite techniques for suppressing opposition.
