Waxahachie Kid #17017 L Posted July 10, 2018 Share Posted July 10, 2018 Several years ago, the magazine "Muzzle Blasts", which is the official magazine of the National MuzzleLoading Rifle Association (N.M.L.R.A), had an article in there, and it recommended plain old blue windshield washer fluid, that you can get most anywhere for about two yankee dollars a gallon. I tried it on my model 1892 Rossi, in .44 W.C.F., after firing many rounds through it, and it works great. It is cheap, and doesn't smell near as bad as Ballistol (pee-yew!).
