Gun Group Dumps Broken Guns At Police Buyback Event, Uses Cash For NRA Camp For Kids

Chicago gun buybacks have helped the group raise $12,000 for the children's shooting safety camp, an organizer says.

Good on 'em!!  They should organize a little so that several individuals can walk a couple of derelicts apiece through the process!!!  One guy shows up with ten old useless guns and four or five others walk them through!!  Use the same tactics that these phony "grass roots" organizations use!!  Disposing of useless old weapons this way does more good by financing gun safety classes than it does when the money is used to buy beer or some other perishable item.

 

We should all try to do things like this, if for no other reason than to finance better guns for our personal use!!  The gun safety idea is better, but if we deplete the ready cash that these idiots are handing out, ANY WAY WE CAN, we diminish the false visual of benevolence these people and organizations try to display!!!

I'm waiting for a "buy back " around here.  Since it is a sale - exchange of the gun for something of value - I want to demand that all the proper paperwork is filled out and the laws complied with.   DROS, 4473, thumb print from buyers and sellers,  10 day waiting period before the buyers can take possession.
