Another hero down the tubes.......

Recommended Posts

I really try to be a modern man.....

My loving wife doesn't ask much of me, but I know she wants me to anticipate what she wants....

So I try to show some thoughtfulness without being asked....

Which brings us to the TV.

I'm a remote hog - I admit it.

And I'm a multi-tasker - I watch 2 or 3 programs at once, switching back and forth when commercials come on or the action gets boring.

It drives Mrs. LaRue nuts.

So I made a commitment to share.

To let her control the control once in awhile.

So I handed the remote to her the other night, and bit my lip.

I would live with whatever she chose.

And she chose.......Sex and the City.

God!!!

OK; I can endure it.

Carrie is in a bar in NYC, flirting with a guy 10 years her junior.

A shallow, drug-addled 20 something who can barely focus on what is in front of him.

A guy with a ......stud...in...his...tongue.

Ick!

There was something strangely familiar about this guy.  Not about the stud.

Wait...no!  It cannot be! NO! NO!

It is!  It's Seth Bullock!  It's Raylan Givens!  It's Timothy Olyphant!!!  It's the stud....... with a (shudder) tongue stud!!!!

Another hero down the tubes!!

That's it...never again.....the remote is MINE, and I'm not giving it up ever again!!!

Hand me the brain bleach, please.

I have no idea who this guy is. Maybe I don't want to know.

Yeah, I am certain, I don't want to know.

You never saw Deadwood?

  • He’s not a hero. He’s a thespian.

If you watch Deadwood, warn the Missus and run the children away from the TV. Or wear Wi-Fi muffs.

Other than the incessant profanity, the series was good. Little risque at times.

Justified is really good.

He was great in Deadwood and Justified! I really don't care what else he did, like Utah Bob said he's a thespian! They get paid to act!

Timothy also had a good role in the movie The Crazies. Interesting movie about a very localized apocalypse.

I'm watching Timothy Olyphant on Amazon in the series "Justified."

Only watched a couple of episodes so far.  Not sure if I like it or not.

Keep watching it is a very good series.
