Abilene Slim SASS 81783
I know nothing about the "new" coated bullets. I have a .44-40 1860 Henry that prefers .429 bullets over the more commonly available .430. My 1911 prefers .451 over the commonly available .452. In both cases, I buy the more common diameter lead bullets and size them down one thousandth. Works great. If coated bullets are resized, does that scrape off the coating, thus negating its benefits? Painted Mohawk SASS 77785
Just doing just that..resizing coated bullets .428 down to .427 with no worries.
Nickel City Dude
PM Were you able to get the .428 coated bullets from Missouri Bullet? And are you running them threw the Mr BF in .45? Hows this all working out for you?
Warden Callaway
Sawmill Mary's Smoke Wagons like 427 bullets. She likes the 180 g "lipstick" bullets from Missouri Bullets. Unfortunately, they only come in 430 diameter. I set up a Lee 427 sizer die in a small press upside down so the bullets poop out the bottom. I let them drop in an empty vinegar jug. The box catches any unsized bullets I drop.
Cheyenne Ranger, 48747L
size them down. unless you're going down .005 or something like that: no problems some folks will spray a bit of case lube on them but I don't find the need for that
Nickel City Dude
Warden Missouri Bullet also make a 44-40 in .428 RNFP. They are not red but they would be a lot closer to the size you need than .430. Here is a picture of the .428 that I use.

Boulder Canyon Bob# 32052L
Cheycast bullets make their 200 gr bullet in 429 for the
Assassin
The coating is baked on before the bullets are sized. Resizing them again shouldn't make any difference.

You might try calling them and see if they would do a run of 180grain cowboy in .427.
