Smoken D
It is with extreme sadness that I must report the loss of two baby Bald Eagles. The other night here in Missouri we had very heavy winds and the Eagle Nest that I have been watching on my walks was unable to remain in the tree. One of the limbs holding the nest gave way causing the nest to crash to the ground. The two Baby Bald Eagles did not survive. I am deeply sadden for our loss. Two of the photos I took along my walk showing the nest in the tree with one of the Eagles visible.

Warden Callaway
They have been off the endangered species list since 2007. We see more every year and now all times of the year.
